On the 10th of September, Anthony Clark who is a badminton player visited our class. We got to ask him lots of questions, such as ‘What was his mindset as a child?’ which we then voted for as a class. We also wanted to know what his favourite pudding was and he said his mother’s rhubarb crumble! We found out that he had trained for 24,000 hours in total over 16 years.
He spoke to all ofthe children about the importance of perseverance and determination to achieve your goals which links to the Growth Mindset work that the children have been focusing on in class. Anthony then visited each class to answer any questions, show them his medals and to look at the wonderful work they have done so far.
